Great video and usual. I was wondering what safety tech do you have, especially going up there on your own in the evening? No phone coverage up there, fella! What extra clothing do you have in your bag in case you bin it big time - break a leg, 3or4 ribs etc? Prepare for the worst, hope for the best. Still fail to understand why you do not wear gloves. Try getting back down the hill with hands ripped to shreds after a bad fall. Thanks for your great videos. Be good to hear what you consider taking with you depending on what ride you do. Cheers.

I find the same in that my E160 doesn't seem to carry as much speed downhill as my 'conventional' Giant which can feel a bit frustrating. For me, at my age, the benefits of the help I get on the up hills outways my frustration on the downhills... Another epic vid mate. Cheers.

As an American, usually the most we’re taught about the UK’s royalty is the stuff around the revolutionary war and maybe just who the current king or queen is, which makes it surprising in the best way possible that compared to the kings we’re taught about, Charles is an incredibly nice man who if someone like me saw him on the street I would even know he was the king!

I am sure there is some kinda crazy story to the walking stick the king had but from a glance I love that it just looks like a simple shepherds stick, it was like prob gifted to the family in the 1700s or something by dragon

Yep, eminently doable. The climb up to the col between Maol Cheann Dearg and An Ruadh Stac is mostly doable too accept for the loose stony final section. Ps... I used trail mode on my Shimano EP801 motor and and set my rear shock to firm and I had much more control of the bike on the Annat climb. The rear suspension curve on Mondrakers is usually firm as they are designed for pedaling so no see sawing going over rocks. Nice vid.

It’s tough out there. I recognise some thing of this vid from a ride I did, a loop from Annat out to a westward descent towards Loch Coire Fionnaraich, between Maol Chean-Dearg and An Ruadh-Stac. Brutal. The kind of descent where walkers look at you like you’re mental.
